Noren Curtain – Autumn Ginkgo (Ichō)
A poetic celebration of Kyoto’s golden autumns. Golden-amber ginkgo leaves drift gently across the fabric, capturing a serene sense of change and natural tranquility. The fan-shaped ginkgo leaf is an enduring symbol of resilience, peace, and longevity in Japanese heritage.
Noren are iconic split-fabric doorway curtains used for generations in Japanese homes, tea rooms, and shops. Suspended in doorways, hallways, or window frames, they provide gentle interior privacy, divide living spaces, and filter light while maintaining natural airflow.
